The British Gas Great East Swim course was adjusted during the day to accommodate the wind direction and strength. This is unfortunately the nature of swimming outdoors in the UK.

Therefore we have removed the finishing positions from the results

0930 hrs Yellow Wave – adjusted during the wave from one mile (1600 metres) to 1500 metres

All waves from 10.00 to 12.00 – distance 1500 metres.

Elite men and Elite women – distance one mile

1300 – 1530 hrs - distance 1100 metres.
